LLOYDS HIGH SPEED MULTI TURBINE DISPERSER MODEL : JJ 1105 for fast batch wise ultra fine grinding down to colloidal fineness of less than one micron (< 1 um) of hard to soft materials dry or in suspension for mixing and grinding of materials that may otherwise require very large amount of time and efforts to grind, mix and perfect homogenizing of emulsion, ink and pastes with soft to hard materials..

Method of Operation :
 

The turbine disperser works exclusively through the use of multi planeterial centrifugal force. The turbine disc and canister disc rotate at proportionate speed in different direction and due to this combination of tremendous centrifugal forces generated in different planes create high speed outward material flow with powerful laminar shear within the material with high energy impact grinding and powerful mixing action in all parts of the sample within few seconds or minutes

What can it do?

With this instrument, the typical mixing time for fully dispersing a powder pigment into silicon sealent or for fully mixing furned silica or precipitated chalk silicon formulations in just few minutes. Will normally suffice. These are both operations that would otherwise require 3 hours or more mixing time, and they can only be done in quantities of 1 quarter or greater. Additional mixing time removes air from the blend yielding s finished product when the mixing process is done. Fluid of disparate viscosities can be blended quickly. Powders of widely differing densities can be made into a homogeneous blend in less than 60 seconds. Powders can be treated with liquids in similar time frames. Flushed colours can be mixed with varnishes in 2 minutes. Coatings formulations can be made and ground to desired size with use of a grinding medium in a matter of a few minutes or less.

This makes every mixer user a better compounder, since it allows the mixing of many interatons that would other wise go untested due to time constraints. The mixer has proven it self extremely useful for tests envolving cure rates, adhesion, colour, and appearance, as well as the measurement of basic physical properties.
